Angel Granieri

Angel has worked in the fitness industry for over 24 years as a Personal Trainer, competitive athlete, group instructor, nutritional consultant and fitness manager. She is now working as a life coach (specializing in health and fitness) where she experiences enormous gratification in helping others achieve their goals ultimately becoming successful in their mission. It is her mission to provide a variety of educational services for all age groups including kid fitness classes to Silver Sneakers.

Jennifer Rowe

Jennifer is a graduate of Radford University with a BA in Business Accounting. She worked for several years in Washington, DC as an Auditor with the Department of Defense and then as a Financial Analyst with Booz Allen Hamilton. While working with the federal government, she lead the recruiting effort for the DC Metro area. Her varied past also includes dancing for 16 years and a certification in Pilates Mat through the Physical Mind Institute. She has experience tutoring students in accounting and resume writing.

Carrie Aron

Señora Aron is a licensed teacher and has taught Spanish to homeschoolers and local preschools since 2008. Previously, she taught elementary school in a bilingual classroom in Denver Public Schools. She received her Masters in Bilingual Education from the University of Colorado. Carrie has studied, travelled and lived in Mexico, Spain and Argentina. She lives in Washington Park and has two young children.
Her course will focus on teaching the children Spanish through the 4 components of language acquisition (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Students will have fun learning Spanish through songs, games and stories. The class will also offer a cultural component where children will cook food, do art projects and study the culture typical to Spanish-speaking countries. At the end, the course will culminate in a final project where students demonstrate what they have learned in a presentation to parents.

Adam Knudson

Adam has been a teacher for more than 10 years, and considers himself a super geek with a love of math and science. His passion is marine science, and Scuba Diving and Skiing are his favorite activities. He loves teaching and wants it to be on subjects he’s passionate about and with students that are equally interested.

Sarah Fitzgerald

Sarah Fitzgerald works out of her studio in Denver, where she paints, designs, illustrates, and dreams of adventures. Prior to having her children, she worked for 10 years at a variety of design firms, advertising agencies, and an international publishing house. Visual art and communication have been her passion from early childhood. She is an instructor at Art Makers Denver and has participated in a number of juried art shows. She is a graduate of DAAP where she received a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Cincinnati.

Patty Noll

Patty Noll, Director of Kids Camera Camp, has worked along side husband Chris, as a photographer, photographers assistant and business partner for over 15 years. As a mom with two kids, she has years of experience working with children by volunteering and contributing to many children’s programs both in and outside of schools. A love for children and photography has created this wonderful fun environment called Kids Camera Camp!

Kimberly Cunningham, RN, BSN, ANP-C

Kimberly is a graduate of both the University of Colorado College of Nursing with both a BSN and MS in nursing and the University of Florida with a BA in History.  She has worked for several years in the Emergency Department and in a large geriatric practice here in Denver.  Kimberly has extensive teaching experience both inside and outside of the exam rom with a pre-healthcare background in offering courses and program design to children and adults alike in healthcare, water safety, swimming, dance, and a variety of subjects.

Kandice Porter

Kandice is a Music Development Instructor. Born and raised in Denver, she went to college and obtained a degree in Music Liberal Arts at Xavier University of Louisiana.  In addition to offering private voice and piano lessons in Denver, Kandice currently owns and teaches in her business, Bonding to the Beat, where she creates a meaningful, musical atmosphere for children ages 5 and under.  In her young child program, kids are able to develop their social, memorization and gross motor skills while parents are able to have that much needed bonding time!  We are excited for Kandice to bring her love of music and engaging teaching style to Think Tank.

Edgar Johansson, sensei

Since 1990, Edgar Johansson’s commitment to studying aikido  has afforded him opportunities to meet and train with some of the world’s finest aikidoka and instructors. Edgar is founder and president of Denver Aikikai and currently holds the rank of Yondan (4th Degree black belt)

Edgar’s dojo supports and cultivates martial exploration and he is bringing his open and inviting instruction style to Think Tank participants. All students are encouraged to find a way through techniques so the movements work for their individual body and all levels of training are welcome.  We train in white gis but students new to martial arts training can take their first classes in sweats.
