Frequently Asked Questions

  1.  How many kids need to register for a class for the session to run?  There is a five participant minimum for all classes.
  2. What if I need to cancel my registration?  There are no refunds once payment has been made unless a child on the waiting list takes your child’s space.
  3. Do you offer discounts and scholarships?  Yes!  We offer a 10% discount for the oldest registering sibling and there are a limited number of scholarship spaces available every month.
  4. What about food allergies?  We do not offer food at the Think Tank and students are responsible for bringing in their own lunch and snacks.  We have asked participants to avoid all food items containing nuts.
  5. What is your student to teacher ratio?  We maintain a maximum eight to one student teacher ratio.  Once a class has nine or more participants, we add an assistant teacher to the room to maintain that ratio.
  6. How big do the classes get?  Not very big at all!  We believe that the small-group learning environment amongst peers is one of the best ways to facilitate growth, understanding and success.  We cap each class at 16 participants.
  7. What if my older kid wants to attend a class for younger kids or vice versa?  Classes are built to form cohorts of mixed-age students in a small range of grades.  If a student is a good fit for a class outside of their grade range, they can register for that class with the approval of the Think Tank Director.
